I prepped my food last night as planned. It's such a feeling of accomplishment. Then as I was getting ready for bed I remembered that I was having lunch with my friend Jody today. It was no big deal though because I had just planned on having this for lunch.
We went to Jason's Deli and had their salad bar which was really good. My salad was only 5 points.
The bad thing that happened today was I forgot to take the food I had prepped with me to work :( I was 20 minutes from home when I realized it and was already running late so I couldn't go back to get it or stop at the store.
I was able to work with it though. I had a peanut butter granola bar in my desk that I had for my morning snack and then 2 tbsp. of peanut butter for my afternoon snack. But I do not want to do that again. I was missing my planned snacks. When I got home I had my fresh fruit and yogurt. I'm a fan of Chobani yogurt and saw this at the store and picked it up. It was delicious and totally worth the 4 points. It's a bit high in sugar though. I'm trying to keep an eye on that.
We were all home tonight so I made dinner. I still had chicken and potatoes left from the other night so I ended up making that Italian chicken dish again. And again there wasn't a drop left over.
It was beautiful today so Gracie and I took the dogs for a walk. When we got back I was sitting on the porch with Jim and decided I wanted to keep going so I took the dogs out for another mile. I ran into a friend that lives in our neighborhood and she invited us in
the back yard for a water break (and so I could help her with Candy
Crush :)) It was so nice to catch up with her.
So that was my day. Still chugging along.
